Will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day manufacturing operations; ensuring that productivity is achieved while adhering to quality requirements and customer specifications
- Determining/Allocating resources efficiently in the organization
- Engage the workforce in initiatives for continuous improvement
- Understanding and following/interpreting the collective agreement, dealing with first-level grievances
- Maintaining customer focus on quality and delivery
- Maintaining core values, with a focus on H&S, in a 45001/14001 certified environment.
We seek a candidate with a strong background in either employee or labour relations (unionized or non-unionized environment), who will work with employees and engage people towards continuous improvement. Previous training in Lean TPS or WCM is an asset.
Offered is the opportunity to get on board with a stable multinational organization with a broad customer base, stretching across multiple industry sectors. On top of a base salary, this employer has a bonus program that pays out at around the 10% mark and will contribute 7% to a Pension program which brings the real earnings of the position to more than $85,000 plus paid overtime (1.5X after 40 hours)
