This position is responsible for developing and servicing Automotive OEM accounts to provide engineered structural steel products. Backed by strong product development and metallurgical engineering teams, this position leverages internal resources in program management and technical services to create innovative solutions to reduce vehicular weight and cost.
As a customer liaison, this position embeds itself in the customer's engineering and purchasing teams, looking for new opportunities coming down the pipe, and influencing the design to find engineered solutions.
We seek an account manager with strong knowledge of rolled formed or steel and welded products, knowledge of metallurgy and quality standards
Two years of automotive account or program management experience
Strong working knowledge of metal forming and welding technologies
